Setting Sail

Ahoy there everyone!!! Sorry, I had too.  I hope everyone is having a great Thursday because I am getting so excited there is only one more work day till the weekend. 🙂

For this post I wanted to share a way to wear your summer dresses as tops during the fall/winter.  With Houston actually having some gorgeous cool weather you really don’t need to add jackets or coats, but more so light layers to get you through the day.  Something I have been doing is re-purposing some of my dresses into my top options; this way I get so much more bang for my buck.  Plus it is a great way to continue not needing to buy maternity tops. 😉

With my look I wanted to incorporate all the amazing nautical accessories I have from Charming Charlie.  The blue and white pinstripes and my own red initial M key chain was an absolutely perfect touch.  Not only can this look go great for the fall, but I can’t wait to wear this outfit in the summer minus my denim pants.
