Meet Owlet

Now that I am a mom, all I want to do is make sure my daughter Sofia is safe and sound.  Being a mom is the most amazing thing, but also the scariest.  I think every parent freaks out over everything from the moment they take their child home for the first time.  You no longer have doctors or nurses assisting you in everything, and it’s now completely your responsibility to make sure your child has everything they could possibly need or want.

I remember the first night Sofia was home and my husband and I had absolutely no sleep.  We were constantly checking to see if she was breathing, comfortable, if she was swaddled the correct way, or was her neck in the right position?  The nights were extremely long, but we knew we weren’t the only parents that had gone through this.

During my pregnancy I was introduced to Owlet, which is a smart sock that your baby wears when they sleep to monitor their heart rate and oxygen level.  It is the same technology that they use in the hospitals called pulse oximetry and is completely safe for baby.  Everything is connected to an app on your phone and tells you whenever there is a change in either; a total sign of relief for any parent.

I ordered an Owlet when she was two weeks old and from the first night we put it on her it eased both of our nightly worries to almost zero.  It is such a magical product that I wanted to make sure I introduced it to all the mamas and mamas-to-be; it has completely changed our lives and given us peace of mind.  Make sure to check out Owlet. 🙂

  1. I already have my owlet ready and waiting for our little one! Can’t wait! When I tell people about it and they ask the price they cringe but I say no one can put a price on my baby’s life or my peace of mind.
