I am probably like every other woman that brings too many outfits on vacation, only to not wear a few of them for all to see.  Sadly, this was one of those dresses, but I had to make sure to shoot it while I was still in Cancun at our resort.  My sorority sister and roommate Joanne was the best sport and photographer to help ensure that this look was documented prior to leaving back home to Houston.

This Blue Life Ruffle Hi Lo Dress from Planet Blue features adjustable tie straps and cascading ruffles at the bodice and bottom hem that would have been perfect running around the resort as a cover up to my bathing suit, or grabbing dinner and drinks with the girls.  I loved pairing it with my oversized straw hat and gladiator sandals that were consistent pieces in my everyday looks on the beach, and sadly since I can’t find the exact ones I linked similar pieces to mine.
