How To Style My Favorite Fall Color: Marigold

When it comes to my style, I tend to love lots of neutrals; from white, black, beige and to blush pinks…you can never go wrong in my book.  Nonetheless with the fall season coming, I can’t help but want to go out of my normal color scheme and wear something new.

Marigold is one of the “IT” colors for fall not only because it looks great on everyone, but it is a happy color because it reminds me of the changing colors of leaves in preparation for the holiday season.  When deciding on how to wear marigold, I always suggest to not over do it.  Select one piece of clothing that you want to wear and pair it with another piece that helps to make it stand out.

This lattice back sweater is seriously one of my favorite purchases for the fall that I bought during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, and I simply cannot get over the back detailing and the bell sleeves.  I decided to pair it with one of my go to festive mini skirts HERE or HERE, because of the gorgeous detailing and how the marigold sweater really brings out the colors of the skirt.  (I am wearing a Small for reference)

Plus nothing screams fall than booties, a felt hat and the perfect Chanel cross body from The Vintage Contessa, to make this outfit complete.

Have a great Thursday everyone and thanks for stopping by!!!
