My baby girl.  You officially turn two tomorrow and I still can not fathom how fast the past years have come and gone.  It really is true when people say, once you have children the days are slow, but the years zoom by.

Over the past year so much as changed.  You are no longer a walker, but a sprinter in everything you do..aka I need to put you in cross country; you have learned so many words that I even get surprised when you say something that we haven’t “taught” you to say, you are SO incredibly sweet.  You care so much for other people, animals and things and that makes my heart melt.  You have become an amazing singer, I mean gosh, I am slightly jealous of your skills.

You are learning what style is yours and some mornings I have to dive in and change the shoes you want because it doesn’t go with your “outfit of the day”, though I know I only have another year or so till that changes.  You absolutely love to draw, color and paint…if you have a pen and paper in front, you truly make the cutest masterpieces especially when you are doing circles.

You love to be outside and at a playground as much as possible, you hate to sit down for longer than 5 minutes unless Mickey Mouse is on..he is your favorite.  You love to give hugs, you officially feel comfortable to walk into school and hold my hand instead of being held, you have made so many friends and they always get excited to see you.

My love you have also traveled like crazy.  After you turned one you headed to Charleston with your Auntie and I, we headed to Austin together, went to San Antonio with Daddy, went to the magical country of Italy where we stayed in Sorrento, Positano, Rome, Venice and Florence, plus you headed with Auntie and I again to New York City so mom could go to NYFW for the second year in a row.  You headed to Salt Lake City with Mommy for a few days to join Daddy on a work trip, you got to visit Disneyland and meet Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy and tons of other Disney characters, and lastly got to go to Cabo with your family. You really are such a blessed little girl; some adults have traveling less than you have in your two short years.

Most importantly Daddy and I just want to thank you for being a part of our lives, and so thankful that God chose us to be your parents.  Even though some days might be difficult and I struggle to make it through the day of tantrums, telling me “NO” more times in a day than I can count, running away when you don’t want to listen, making a big mess of everything, or not eating your food when you need too…I would take all of this to repeat EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. with you.
