We are one day closer to the weekend and I seriously cannot wait.  After such a fun, busy and quick trip this weekend to Palm Springs and then Diego headed to the Virgin Islands, this mama is ready to be a little spoiled this weekend for Mother’s Day.  We have no set plans and I honestly am so excited for that. 😉

For our second day in Palm Springs, one of the stops we did was to the Moorten Botanical Gardens.  Every google search we went to said it was one of the musts to see, and I am glad we went.  It is actually super small; I really thought it was going to be huge, but we were happy about that because it was reaching a temp of 102 and we could only handle it for so long.  We spent a good 15 minutes here to walk around and honestly shoot some photos because it was just so cute and different; nothing like in Houston.

This green button down maxi dress was the perfect thing to wear because I blended in perfectly and due to the fact is was lightweight and breezy.  It is only $51 and I am wearing a size 4 for reference.
