Two weekends ago I stayed at The Woodlands Resort with 3 of my favorite mamas and their babes to celebrate the last month of pregnancy for two of them.  We always thought we were going to go to San Antonio, but quickly realized that they should definitely not be traveling to a different city a month before the babies come. 😉

I luckily found The Woodlands Resort, which is only a 45 minute drive from Houston, and we when I proposed it to the girls they were all on board.

We stayed for two nights, Sunday through Tuesday and it was the perfect amount of time for us to enjoy the resort, get some much needed pool time, great food, awesome pictures and time with our mamas before they have two kiddos.

THE RESORT

The Woodlands Resort is located right in the mist of all the trees and wildlife, so you know you are really in “the woodlands”.  The resort includes two on-site championship golf courses, a world-class tennis center, multiple pool areas, an indulgent spa, a fitness center and a vast network of hiking and biking trails. At theForest Oasis: Lazy River & Waterpark, we enjoy days filled with fun and summertime adventure, racing down the spectacular double-helix water slide or floating along the Resort’s new lazy river when Sofia did not want to be in the tubes so I had t carry her; floaties and all.

We were provided a room that had an amazing view of the gold course and allowed us to really relax and enjoy once we were done with our busy days swimming.  The beds in each room are honestly the most comfortable ones I have slept in and Sofia loved it as well, because she got to sleep in her own big girl bed.
