For Christmas this year my husband got me a pair of black Hunter boots.  I remember when I bought my first pair last year (red version) for my birthday and he immediately saw them and said, ” You are going to wear those a handful times.”  Now forward 12 months later and I have my second pair. 🙂  He finally admitted he was wrong considering I wear my red Hunter boots as many times as I possibly can…P.S they are great for all the UH games I go too!!

I ended up pairing them with another Christmas gift my husband gave me last year, which was my Michael Kors red satchel.  I linked a similar style below since they no longer carry this one in stores.

 This look has been on repeat in my closet for a multitude of reasons; comfort, cuteness, and the super casual factor.  If I end up wanting to take it from day to night I can easily swap out my Michael Kors bag with a clutch and add OTK boots.

 My Kendra Scott earrings were also a birthday purchase for myself last year.  I tend to spoil myself because it is 2 1/2 weeks from Christmas and I remember when I was younger not getting as many gifts because it was right around the corner….that’s the last thing you want to hear as a child. lol
