On March 3, 2017 our little girl Sofia turned 1. I still cannot believe how fast the time has gone because it truly feels like I was just pregnant. I remember when I found out I was having a little girl I couldn’t help but think about all the amazing things we would be doing together. From mommy-daughter lunch dates, matching outfits, taking tons of photos, singing sessions and more, but one thing I always knew was that I wanted her first birthday party to be a Coachella themed one.
If you don’t already know about Coachella it is an amazing music festival that happens once a year in April in California where tons of signers perform, and everyone is dressed in the most amazing bohemian style you can think of. So when it came to her first birthday, I knew I had to do my best to make it as close to it, but baby friendly of course. <3
Sofia’s color theme for her party was unconsciously the same as her bedroom with pink, mint, grey and white. Everything we got for her birthday was made by me or purchased at Hobby Lobby, Marshalls and Target, and with the help of some amazing vendors I have linked below.
On March 4 we invited our family and closest friends and kiddos to celebrate Sofia’s first birthday at Sofichella, and we were so blessed to have so many of them come to be there with us. Sofia doesn’t know it yet, but she is more loved than she could imagine.
Thank you to everyone for being a part of Sofichella. Diego and I couldn’t thank you enough for celebrating our daughters first birthday!! <3 I also wanted to say a special thanks to the amazing vendors below who really helped me bring Sofichella to life. It meant the world to us. <3
