Happy Thursday everyone!! Two weeks ago for Memorial Weekend I went with Diego and Sofia to San Antonio for a fun mini vacation. Diego and I haven’t been there for years and thought it would be a fun location to get away with Sofia and see something new.
Once we arrived to Hotel Valencia we were greeted by the loveliest staff; from the bell man all the way to the receptionist, everyone was very nice and accommodating. Our room was on the third floor with direct access to the outdoor patio, which could have not been more perfect. Since we traveled with Sofia it ended up being absolutely amazing to have her run around and up and down the patio to get out all that toddler energy. I won’t lie, but multiple times a day Diego and I would trade-off running after Sofia and it was the cutest thing ever.
Hotel Valencia is a boutique hotel encompassed with Spanish and Mediterranean flare. It is located on the outer edge of the riverwalk, which allowed us a more quite environment while still being a 3 minute walk from the hustle and bustle of fellow tourists, restaurants and shops and 5 blocks away from the Alamo.
Hotel Valencia has everything you could possibly need on hand, from a complimentary continental breakfast located in the cutest restaurant with an outside patio, complimentary wi-fi, a restaurant on site, Dorrengo’s, a lounge and bar, Naranja to in-room spa services and a free morning newspaper. It is also a block away from Starbucks and next to the cutest coffee shop that I can see me taking a million pictures at. 😉
Another amazing thing about the hotel is the incredibly comfortable rooms with one of the most comfy beds I have ever slept in at a hotel. Even with a toddler in the bed, it made it a perfect sleeping arrangement. Diego on the other hand was obsessed with the huge leather chairs; he said he needs one at the house. Plus as a blogger and girl I was loving the huge floor length mirror. lol
Thank you guys for following and hope you consider Hotel Valencia for your next trip to San Antonio.
Thank you Hotel Valencia for the complimentary stay in exchange for the post. As always, all opinions and thoughts are my own.
