TGIF and Happy Memorial Weekend!!!

I don’t know about you, but any time there is a 3 day weekend I get more and more excited.  I thought I appreciated it when I used to work, but since I am a stay at a home mom these extra days with my husband and daughter mean so much to me.  It not only gives us more family time, but also extra hours for my husband to love on our little girl; he is completely obsessed with her. <3

I recently wore this Old Navy romper for Mother’s Day when my husband surprised me with a picnic at Bayou Bend Park where we took our maternity photos; I had Sofia in a matching one..completely adorable!!  Unfortunately because we had some flooding a few days before all the alligators were misplaced so they have it closed until mid-June.  We were so sad, but didn’t want that to ruin our day.  We ended up parking the car right outside and having a picnic under the trees.  We plan on going back this summer and taking some cute photos with Sofia.

I love this look because it is so lightweight and completely comfortable.  Houston is officially in summer mode and that means extremely hot weather with humidity and mugginess.  Ugh, it sucks.  lol
