Last week I was at one of my favorite events of the year, fashion week. Since I was little girl reading fashion magazines, dreaming of one day living in the big city, and living vicariously through the ladies of Sex and the City, fashion was and is still is such a amazing time for any person that loves fashion.
Designers showcase all their new pieces of the next season and makes me so excited for Spring to come so you can highlight the trends, pentanes and styles into your wardrobe.
Another thing that I love about fashion week is being able to go out of comfort zone and wear something rare and out of your ordinary attire, and this dress, was one of them. The “All That Glitters” maxi dress caught my eye the moment I saw it; from the gorgeous blush color, to the star embroidered detail and the sexy, yet somewhat subdued vibe, I loved it all. It also comes in a white color HERE, for all my brides out there.
Since it was a little chilly in NYC I decided to edge up my dress with one of my favorite grey suede jackets HERE. I got this one during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale because I was already obsessed with my taupe one and figured I needed this color just as much.
Then bringing it all together is my favorite bag of all time, the Chanel single flap from The Vintage Contessa here in Houston. They were so gracious to let me borrow this white Chanel and a black one for my time during NYFW; you will see more posts of these bags coming on the blog over the next two weeks. <3
Thank you so much for following along and happy Monday everyone!!!
