It is officially August which means school is here!!! Even though our actual school doesn’t start til October I am making my best effort to get some good school hours set for Sofia each day to create a rhythm. We have started daily Pre-K classes online for the past 2 weeks every morning and it has been great for all of us. Sofia is getting a teacher and kids to talk and interact with while learning new things everyday and it makes my heart so happy; definitely ideal considering everything. 🙂
No matter how this school year is looking for many of us, one of my favorite places to shop for all things Back To School is Walmart because they have everything you could possibly need and want..which is just what this mama needs. In order to create a school environment we make sure to get ready every morning with an outfit of Sofia’s choice, and 99% of the time that means dresses. This striped multi-color dress is the cutest and it even comes with a matching hair tie + in a 2 pack with this yellow floral dress for $13…she hasn’t wanted to take it off since it came in the mail.
Now one thing I have been known to do is a little shopping for myself as well whenever I get on Walmart’s website and I found this whole look for under $50 and I am obsessed. Just like Sofia loves getting dressed up for class I love getting dressed up to start the day and this outfit made me feel completely put together and very cute. 🙂 My floral top (M) is only $11.96 and my flare crop jeans (6) are $27.99 and one of my favorites. They were actually the very first pair of jeans I got after I had my son 4 months ago and they are extremely flattering in all ways!
Another reminder is that at your local Walmart, they have a print out of every school in your district with a list of back to school supplies needed for your child in order to make the shopping experience for back to school. Whatever your year might look like I hope you make it as positive as possible.
