Back to School with Walmart 2020 Edition

Parents, it finally has hit me that we are starting a new school year in a month and my mind is blown.  Whether you will be doing homeschooling, virtual or face to face we are all getting ready for the 2021 school year and Sofia and I couldn’t be more excited.

One of my favorite things to do to prepare for a school year is getting together a cute first day outfit, new backpack and workbooks to practice prepping our educational skills.  Walmart is where I have bought a lot of those items over the past few years and I am excited to share what I purchased this year.

Wonder Nation has SO MANY cute and trendy pieces and Sofia loved them all.  Our favorite items are basic dresses like this ONE and they always have a lot that include a 2 pack for under $11 that come in a bunch of colors and prints.

When it comes to accessories the best one is a cute backpack that holds all the items to get you prepared for the year.  Sofia really loved this iridescent shimmer one and it matched perfectly with this lavender colored dress.  The moment she got it she immediately placed her workbooks inside and said “Mom i am ready for school!”.

You know what is so amazing about Walmart as well, they make it so easy to get free shipping because all you need to do is spend $35, which honestly for me can be pretty easy when I am on their website. Another great thing is that if you go to your local Walmart, they have a print out of every school in your district with a list of back to school supplies needed for your child in order to make the shopping experience for back to school that much easier.

Even though right now things are very different I cannot wait to do some homeschooling and virtual learning with Sofia to try and help her learn as much as possible during her Pre-K 4 year.  Whatever your year might look like I hope you make it as positive as possible.

Also, here is a Back To School Checklist for Pre-K that I will utilize for Sofia.
