Girls Weekend Trip To Nashville

This past weekend I went on my first girls trip in 2 years..so crazy right?  From being pregnant to the pandemic I was truly in need of this time with some of my best friends and it did not disappoint.  There were so many laughs, smiles, dancing, singing and deep rooted heartfelt conversations that just make your heart feel full.  I never new know much I needed this trip until I was there with them. 🙂

Now time to share the good stuff!! I’ll talk about the places and things we did to help anyone else that will be going to Nashville.  Honestly a weekend trip was perfect and I think we did a great balance of party, shopping/relaxing and then countryside fun.

Where We Stayed

Thompson Hotel was the perfect place for us to stay on this trip.  It is in the heart of the city with lots of shopping and food around it all, plus it has a cutest aesthetic and space, plus the rooftop bar and downstairs restaurant is amazing.

What We Did

I Believe in Nashville Mural- 1402 Clinton St, Nashville, TN 37203

Broadway

A  must in Nashville is to head up Broadway street where you will find all the cars, restaurants, live music and cute stores for boots and nick-nacks.  We got there at 1030am and it was already popping. lol  We knew we didn’t want to go out at night because it would use be too busy and not safe in our opinion so glad we went early.

Hampton Social

To end out first night we went to Hampton and it was the best time ever.  The DJ was killing it with the “top hits” and all the ones that we used to dance too in the club when we were in our party days. 😉 I literally only got this one picture from the night but I have fun things on my stories.

12th South

A half-mile stretch along 12th Avenue South called the 12South neighborhood and one of the most walkable neighborhoods in Nashville, 12South is a shopping and dining destination full of restaurants, coffee houses, bakeries, bars, and boutiques featuring local designers and makers. We stopped by this flower spot and I could not, not, take a photo next to this vintage car..especially since I coordinated with it so much.

Wing Mural- 302 11th Ave S, Nashville, TN 37203

5th and Taylor Restaurant

This restaurant was one I got booked for us on our last night and it DID NOT disappoint.  I got the steak and we all shared mashed potatoes brussel sprouts and more for the table and my goodness it was AMAZING!! Definitely recommend if you com into town.

Franklin, TN- Leiper Fork Distillery

For our last day we wanted to do something really relaxed and our friend Alice suggested we go to Franklin which is about a 30 minute drive from Nashville.  It is the cutest small town for shopping and grabbing a bite to eat.  We had brunch at Puckett’s and the you must get the cinnamon roll!!!  After we went to Leiper Fork Distillery since it was the closest place that had bourbon/whiskey.  I wanted to bring something home to Diego so I am glad we got to visit it.  There was only us and one other group and even though it was sprinkling it was gorgeous and so lush; plus there were two men that were playing guitar and singing for us to enjoy while we were there.

The Graduate Hotel

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous!!! Our friend Alice was was staying an extra night so we got to tour the hotel and rooms a little and it did not disappoint.  The only thing we all really wanted to do was go to White Limozeen which is Dolly Parton’s bar/pool area and even if you stay at the hotel you do not get free access to it, and it is seriously so cute.  If you do plan on going make reservations asap.

L.A Jackson Bar at Thompson Hotel

The bar was located right on the top floor of our hotel with yummy drinks and an amazing view of Nashville.
